The song has been released in 1959 on the side B of the single 45 RPM Jolly - J 20064.
At the 13th July 1959 Celentano won with the song the Ancona Festival. The music and the arrangement are by Ezio Leoni, the text by Piero Vivarelli and Lucio Fulci.
During the first week the release has sold 300.000 singles and reached the first position in the charts for two weeks (as reported by the Music and records data of that year). The song won the Festival of Ancona. The text of the song, which was conceived with the title of "Vieni a Capri, mon amour" was written by Vivarelli who gave half the rights to Fulci in exchange for fifty percent of the rights to the songs by Wera Nepy.

In this record, for the last time, you find the rhythm of Giorgio Gaber's guitar for his solo activity and the duo with Enzo Jannacci (the two began to record together with the pseudonym I Due Corsari) Gaber decides to abandon the Rock Boys, imitated both by the drummer Flavio Carraresi and by the two Ratti brothers (the three will devote themselves to jazz, but Carraresi will also have some luck in the sixties as a singer and, later, as the author of Japanese cartoon themes ).
