about

Celentano's "Jolly Era" reissues series continues: after "Adriano Celentano con Giulio Libano e la sua orchestra" and "Furore", his two first LP's, it's now time for "Peppermint Twist". Since its title the album is a homage to twist and to that corner of America where the popular dance was born.

This third record was released in 1962, after a hiatus of more than one year, due to the call to arms; in those months Celentano was already a media phenomenon, given all the articles and the photographs where he plays a guitar in uniform.
