The success of the first LP and the warm welcome of the fans, convinced Mr.Guertler founder of SAAR Records to achieve for Jolly, again in 1959, another album of the quintet, expanded to octet. With Valdambrini, Bass and Sellani collaborated Italian musicians Franco Cerri, Mario Pezzotta, Attilio Donadio and Piero humiliate, the Swede Lars Gullin and the Swiss George Gruz. This album got a huge critical success. Exceptional performance in pure California style of "Blues for Gassman."

Il buon esito del primo LP e la calda accoglienza degli estimatori, convinsero Guertler a realizzare per la Jolly, sempre nel 1959, un altro album del Quintetto, ampliato ad Ottetto.
Con Valdambrini, Basso e Sellani, collaborarono i musicisti italiani Franco Cerri, Mario Pezzotta, Attilio Donadio e Piero Umiliano, lo svedese Lars Gullin e lo svizzero George Grunz.
Questo album ottenne un grandissimo successo di critica. Eccezionale l’interpretazione in puro stile californiano di “Blues for Gassman”.
